Com 6 a 0 de vantagem, o Paysandu não se acomodou com o placar confortável construído no primeiro jogo e partiu para cima, abrindo o marcador com apenas 2 minutos de jogo com Nicolas.
O Papão continuou melhor, e aos 39 minutos, João Vieira aumentou a vantagem ao bater de primeira para o gol, após passe de Nicolas.
No segundo tempo, já aos 26 minutos, após Edinho cruzar para trás, Vinícius Leite apareceu para dar uma cavadinha com muita qualidade e mandar para o fundo da rede, aumentando o placar.
Os donos da casa pareciam sem forças para continuar buscando o gol de honra e se defendiam como dava.
Quando o cronômetro marcou 38 minutos, Vinícius Leite deu um lindo lançamento para Edinho, que passou pelo goleiro e marcou o quarto gol, fechando o placar, 4×0 no jogo e 10×0 no agregado.
Agora, na galeria de troféus regionais do Campeão dos Campeões, o Paysandu soma quatro troféus da Copa Verde (2016, 2018, 2022 e 2024) e mais um da Copa Norte (2002). Consolidando-se como o maior campeão regional do Brasil.
