Na da última terça-feira (25) aconteceu no ginásio Hildo Carvalho mais uma formatura do PROERD – programa educacional de resistência às drogas. Estiveram presentes no evento autoridades, pais, mestres e formandos.
A celebração de formatura tem por objetivo celebrar a formatura do “curso de multiplicadores do programa educacional de resistência às drogas e à violência – proerd”, da polícia militar do Pará, realizado no município de Abaetetuba, aplicado pelo 31° batalhão de polícia militar, desenvolvido pelo instrutor proerdiano CB PM Eduardo Baia, tendo um total de trezentos alunos em onze turmas de quatro escolas da rede municipal de ensino: Cônego Luis Varela, Dr Vicente Maúes, Mariuadir Santos e Santa Luzia.
Vários alunos foram premiados como forma de incentivo, os alunos que se destacaram ao escrever redação falando sobre o que aprenderam no projeto ganharam bicicleta como premiação.
O PROERD é a versão brasileira do programa norte-americano drug abuse resistance education – dare (educar para resistir ao abuso de drogas) implantado na policia de los angeles em 1983, com o objetivo de atuar na prevenção ao uso de drogas por crianças e adolescentes, e atualmente está presente em mais de 69 paises.
No brasil, o programa foi recepcionado em 1992 pela polícia militar do estado do rio de janeiro, e patenteado com nome de proerd. Aplicado exclusivamente pelas polícias militares do brasil, tem como principal público beneficiário os estudantes da educação infantil, 5° e 7° anos do ensino fundamental das escolas públicas e particulares e público adulto com o currículo proerd pais/responsáveis.
