Nesta sexta-feira (26), o Dia da Música Brega é celebrado no Estado e mostra que o ritmo tem chegado cada vez mais longe. A cena tem se fortalecido com a premiação da Gaby Amarantos no Grammy Latino, o estouro nacional de Manu Bahtidão, e figuras como Pabllo Vittar levando o ritmo a toda América Latina.
No Pará, um sinal incontestável de que uma música se tornou sucesso é quando ela ‘vira brega’: qualquer hit internacional ganha versões do ritmo consagrado no Norte do país. O brega foi destaque na abertura das Olimpíadas no Brasil e é referência da cultura e identidade paraense. Surgido nas quebradas de Belém, o brega superou preconceitos, foi alçado a Patrimônio Cultural e Imaterial do Pará e ganhou uma data especial só para ele.
Grande tendência de 2024, o tecnobrega, surgiu em Belém na década de 2000, misturando música eletrônica com pop e gêneros regionais, como o brega, o calipso e o carimbó. Com músicas produzidas a partir de beats de programas de computador e gravadas em CDs “piratas”, o tecnobrega forjou seu próprio modelo de negócio e de distribuição, dando forma ao maior mercado cultural da região Norte, que movimenta uma cena de produtores, empresários, DJs, carregadores de aparelhagens e artistas.
Lenda do tecnomelody, a banda “Os Brothers” é dona de vários clássicos que todo paraense sabe de cor, como “Hoje eu tou solteira”, “Rainha” e “A distância”. Atração confirmada no Psica 2024, o grupo tem mais de 20 anos de estrada, e circula por casas de shows do Pará, Amapá e Maranhão, e em países como Suriname e Guiana Francesa.
O Festival Psica 2024 acontece nos dias 13, 14 e 15 de dezembro, na Cidade Velha e no Estádio do Mangueirão, em Belém, celebrando a potência da cultura preta e periférica da Amazônia.
