A Marinha do Brasil está realizando, de 06 a 10 de janeiro, o Curso Especial para Tripulação de Embarcações de Estado no Serviço Público (ETSP), para Bombeiro Militar, Polícia Militar e Polícia Civil.
O curso ETSP é oferecido pela Capitania dos Portos da Amazônia Oriental (CPAOR) e qualifica os agentes para condução de pequenas embarcações, de até oito metros de comprimento, empregadas na navegação dos interiores dos municípios do estado, de modo a assegurar o emprego e manutenção adequadas destes meios. No momento, 20 agentes estão sendo qualificados.
O curso terá a duração de quarenta horas, abordando temas como: conhecimentos de marinharia, comunicação, legislação sobre tráfego aquaviário, manobras de embarcações, noções sobre motores propulsores, noções sobre estabilidade de embarcações, navegação e meteorologia, sobrevivência, poluição ambiental nos rios e segurança na navegação, dentre outros. Também estão sendo realizadas aulas práticas a bordo de embarcações.
