O presidente da República cumpriu agenda no Pará neste sábado (17). Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) desembarcou na base aérea de Belém por volta das 19h30 de sexta-feira. E na manhã de sábado, o presidente viajou de helicóptero, por volta de 9h, para o município de Abaetetuba, na região nordeste do estado, onde fez a entrega de 222 casas populares do programa “Minha Casa Minha Vida” no Residencial Angelin. A cerimônia começou por volta das 10h30 e terminou por volta das 12h.
Em sua fala, a prefeita Francineti Carvalho fez questão de lembrar que seu pai Chico Narrina recebeu Lula no passado: “Na década de 80, presidente, o senhor esteve aqui (como candidato). Meu pai era o prefeito e recebeu o senhor naquele momento. Hoje o senhor retorna como presidente do nosso país”, declarou Francineti.
Lula agradeceu o apoio de Francineti nas eleições de 2022 logo no início de seu discurso. “Obrigado, Francineti, por ter me apoiado na eleição”, disse. Ao final do discurso da prefeita, o presidente e demais autoridades que estavam no palco foram cumprimentá-la.
Em seu discurso, Lula disse que pessoas que ganham mais, também têm o direito de ter uma casa para morar: “E vamos fazer casa também para pessoas que ganham um salário de classe média. Porque as pessoas que ganham mais também têm o direito de ter uma casa pra morar”; afirmou.
A cerimônia também contou com a presença do governador Helder Barbalho (MDB), do ministro das Cidades, Jader Filho, do líder do Governo no Senado, Randolfe Rodrigues (sem partido-AP), do senador paraense, Beto Faro (PT-PA) e da primeira-dama, Janja Lula da Silva.
Segundo o governo federal, as moradias entregues em Abaetetuba beneficiam diretamente 888 pessoas na Faixa 1, que contempla cidadãos com renda mensal bruta de até R$ 2.640.
Cada casa do residencial possui 43,11 metros quadrados de área privativa e valor de R$ 92,2 mil. O investimento total foi de mais de R$ 20 milhões com recursos do Fundo de Arrendamento Residencial (FAR), contratado em 2012.
No caso de Abaetetuba, os beneficiários possuem renda familiar média de R$ 876 e são, em grande parte, da zona rural. No grupo estão 13 pessoas com deficiência, 16 idosos e duas famílias em situação de risco.
