Como o acordo é complexo, Guedes ficará no ar até que as partes cheguem em um meio termo. O objetivo é que isto aconteça até o fim de maio. O tempo de negociação também é o período que a Band precisa para pensar em uma nova programação.
O destino de Edu Guedes será a RedeTV!, onde já trabalhou entre 2015 e 2020. Por lá, ele comandou os programas Melhor Pra Você e Edu Guedes e Você. Guedes já teve reuniões com a direção da TV de Osasco, e as conversas estão em estágio avançado.
