A Polícia Civil do Estado do Pará, após acionamento de funcionários do Banpará, que suspeitaram de documentos utilizados em operação bancária, montou uma equipe policial e se deslocou até a agência do BANAPARÁ, localizada na Avenida Nazaré e verificou que um homem identificado como FRANCISCO SALES DA SILVA NONATO, estava acompanhado de uma mulher identificada como AMANDA CRISTINA BITENCOURT DE MENDONÇA e, utilizando RG falso, em nome de OLAVO SOARES SANTOS para tentar realizar uma transação fraudulenta.
Em continuidade às diligências, verificou-se a atuação de AILTON CHAVES DOS SANTOS, que também atua na referida associação criminosa, fazendo o transporte do dinheiro, objeto da fraude dos suspeitos. No desempenho de sua atividade criminosa, AILTON utilizava um veículo POLO e, no interior do veículo os policiais encontraram documento adulterado em nome de MARIA TEREZINHA FARIAS SANTA ROSA, com a fotografia da conduzida AMANDA, bem como cartão de crédito de mesma titularidade. Ainda, apurou-se, em continuidade das diligências, a atuação de VANUZA, seria a responsável pelo esquema criminoso.
Foram presos em flagrante delito os nacionais FRANCISCO SALES DA SILVA NONATO, AMANDA CRISTINA BITENCOURT DE MENDONÇA e AILTON CHAVES DOS SANTOS. Os suspeitos já se encontram a disposição da justiça.
