Suspeito de matar torcedor no Pará, Cristóvão Augusto Alcântara Evangelista, sargento da reserva remunerada da Polícia Militar do Pará, era vigilante nas Usinas da Paz, projeto do governo que atende comunidades periféricas.
Segundo a Secretaria de Segurança Pública e Defesa Social (Segup), o PM da reserva já foi desligado das atividades que exercia na Usina da Paz.
Ele teve a prisão temporária decretada pela Justiça e se apresentou na delegacia de Polícia Civil no fim da manhã desta terça-feira (9) em Belém, suspeito de ter atirado e matado o torcedor do Remo Paulo Alexandre Silva Dias, após o clássico RexPa no último domingo (7).
Foram analisadas imagens da câmeras de segurança e a polícia ouviu depoimentos apontando o sargento como o autor do disparo que matou o torcedor.
O corpo de Paulo, torcedor do Remo, foi atingido por um disparo de arma de fogo. Ele foi velado na segunda-feira e recebeu as últimas homenagens durante enterro nesta terça-feira, em Belém. O sepultamento foi em um cemitério no bairro da Marambaia.
