Renan Rodrigues dos Santos, de 22 anos, foi assassinado na manhã da última quarta-feira (5), enquanto participava de um momento de oração com colegas de trabalho em uma serraria na zona industrial de Moju, no Pará. O principal suspeito do crime é Daniel Siqueira, de 18 anos, que teria atacado a vítima após uma discussão sobre uma dívida.
Testemunhas relataram que, momentos antes da oração, Renan cobrou o valor devido a Daniel. Minutos depois, durante a prece que marcava o início do expediente, o jovem foi surpreendido pelo agressor, que desferiu golpes fatais. Colegas de trabalho ficaram em choque com a brutalidade do ataque em um momento de reflexão e fé.
A Polícia Civil foi acionada e realizou buscas na região. Informações preliminares apontam que Daniel Siqueira já havia tido passagem pela polícia quando ainda era menor de idade, mas os detalhes dessas ocorrências não foram divulgados. O caso segue em investigação pela Polícia Civil, que busca esclarecer a motivação do crime e localizar o suspeito.
