Neste sábado (20), Santos e Paysandu jogam pela primeira rodada da Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro, às 16h30 (de Brasília), na Vila Belmiro. O clube paraense começou muito bem a temporada, conquistando o título estadual e garantindo vaga na final da Copa Verde.
Pelo Campeonato Paraense, o Paysandu sagrou-se campeão de forma invicta. Na fase de grupos da competição, o clube somou seis vitórias e dois empates, em oito partidas disputadas. O Time está confiante e começa a alcançar o melhor entrosamento, mesmo que, segundo o prórpio técnico Hélio dos Anjos, ainda não esteja pronto.
O grande revés do time do Pará na temporada foi a derrota contra o Juventude, pela segunda rodada da Copa do Brasil. No Estádio Alfredo Jaconi, o Paysandu foi derrotado em 3 a 1 e deu adeus à competição nacional.
Já o Santos, sob o comando do técnico Fábio Carille, está determinado a garantir o acesso à Série A do Campeonato Brasileiro, mas enfrenta obstáculos nos bastidores enquanto se prepara para a estreia na Série B. Vice-campeão do Paulistão, o time tem buscado reforços ativamente no mercado, visando fortalecer a equipe para a temporada.
O atacante Julio Furch, deve desfalcar a equipe na estreia contra o Paysandu. O jogador atuou nos dois jogos da final do Paulistão no sacrifício e agora precisa de tempo para se recuperar adequadamente, evitando assim problemas futuros.
A movimentação nos bastidores revela um cenário de ajustes constantes enquanto o Santos se prepara para encarar uma temporada desafiadora na busca pelo retorno à elite do futebol brasileiro.
