O trabalho científico traçou o perfil psicológico das pessoas que optam por publicar determinados tipos de conteúdo nas redes sociais.
Pessoas que usam o facebook e outras redes sociais com frequência para fazer posts sobre dietas, rotinas de treino e conquistas na academia tendem a ser narcisistas, revelou um estudo conduzido por psicólogos da Brunel University London.
Depois de uma série de entrevistas com mais de 500 usuários das redes de Mark Zuckerberg, os pesquisadores constataram que o hábito de postar selfies praticando exercícios é estimulado por uma grande necessidade de atenção e de validação dos demais. Esse comportamento foi diagnosticado pelos estudiosos como um transtorno de personalidade.
Os psicólogos também refletem que, apesar de estimular um grande número de “likes” e comentários de incentivo, essas reações de outros usuários não absolutamente, indicam aprovação.
“Esses amigos podem estar educadamente oferecendo seu apoio, mas secretamente reprovando essa exibição egoísta”, declara a professora Tara Marshall, uma das responsáveis pela pesquisa.
Outra verificação do estudo foi a de que pessoas com o problema de baixa autoestima atualizam mais vezes os seus status de relacionamento nas redes e postam mais fotos com seus parceiros.
De acordo com os pesquisadores, essa é a forma que pessoas inseguras encontram para tentar fortalecer os laços e dar mais consistência a seus relacionamentos. E que via de regra, esse tipo de postagem não corresponde à realidade da relação.
É verdade que as redes sociais se tornaram uma parte importante da vida das pessoas e dos negócios. Elas oferecem uma maneira fácil e rápida de se conectar com amigos, familiares, colegas e clientes em potencial. No entanto, é preciso ter cuidado ao expor nossa vida pessoal e também entender o que isso significa.
