Uma idosa de 89 anos foi estuprada e morta neste fim de semana dentro da comunidade quilombola Bairro Alto, em Salvaterra, na Ilha do Marajó. Maria Amélia Leal Lucena, de 89 anos, foi encontrada morta dentro de casa, na manhã de segunda-feira (19), na comunidade quilombola do Barro Alto, que fica em Salvaterra, no Marajó. O corpo dela apresentava ferimentos e sinais de que ela teria sido estuprada. A suspeita é de que um terçado tenha sido a arma utilizada para assassinar a idosa.
O homem foi identificado como Márcio Gonçalves Lima, mais conhecido como Cavalo, de 45 anos. Conforme a PM, o suspeito confessou o crime e deu detalhes do que ocorreu momentos antes de assassinar a quilombola Maria Amélia Leal Lucena. Gravações feitas dentro da delegacia mostram o suspeito relatando o crime e negando o estupro. Segundo as investigações, Márcio era ajudado pela vítima e, meses atrás, teria ficado acolhido na residência da idosa.
Ao ser preso, ele disse que havia enforcado a idosa, no entanto, não informou o que motivou o crime. O suspeito detalhou que o ferimento na cabeça da vítima foi ocasionado pelo impacto ao ser jogada no chão. Apesar do laudo médico apontar que houve abuso sexual, o homem nega o estupro. Ele informou para a polícia que estava bêbado quando o crime ocorreu e negou que tenha praticado o abuso sexual.
