Segundo a polícia, a suspeita é sobrinha do homem que foi identificado como Paulo Roberto Braga, de 68 anos. Funcionários do banco suspeitaram da atitude da mulher. Em um vídeo feito pelas atendentes, é possível ver que ela tenta manter a cabeça do homem reta e ainda conversa com o idoso, pedindo para que ele assine o documento do empréstimo. “Tio, tá ouvindo? O senhor precisa assinar. Se o senhor não assinar, não tem como. Eu não posso assinar pelo senhor, o que eu posso fazer eu faço”, afirma a mulher.
Neste momento, as funcionárias chamam a atenção dela devido a palidez do homem, mas a sobrinha responde que ele é assim mesmo e questiona se o tio quer ir para a UPA novamente.
Desconfiadas as trabalhadoras acionam a polícia e o Samu. Os socorristas constataram que o idoso já estava morto há algumas horas.
A investigação vai apurar quais foram foram as circunstâncias da morte.
